After my 'Wake Up' call, I certainly have eased back on stressful work, and ensure that I have more "Me" time (well, actually my Garden looks better for it, and my Dogs get more walks).
You like Eric Clapton ? He lives not far away, in Ewhurst. Maybe you could catch him giving one of his impromtu sessions in the local Pub, there ...
I love fly-fishing: I was in one of my favourite Fishing Tackle shops a while back, only to discover that Gary Brooker (ex "Procul Harum") had a business interest in the Shop, as he explained to me in person. (Some years earlier, my Dad was walking the banks of our favourite fishing river up in Cumbria, the Eden, when he came across Bing Crosby casting his line.) There's something about the "Fellowship of the Angle" that attracts interesting people. But I am still an "Incompleat Angler" (not finished yet).
My Resolutions from many years ago were that the two Interests that would be my ones until the end were (1) fly-fishing and (2) enjoying a glass of wine with a meal. Having virtually given up liquor, and rarely get in any Shooting, I still manage my fly-fishing and enjoying wine. For many more years yet, I hope.
As for Business Opportunities - one of my Staff from years ago used to say "There aren't any Problems, only Opportunities". I'm kinda easing up on "Opportunities", but I might just manage BGs. It's the £42k per annum that attracts me !
For myself, I have now taken the 'High-Tech Route' to writing my books - more later (if it works out !).
